First post
I have had this site since April and after an initial flurry of activity I reached the limits of my abilities. I was well and truly stuck!
It is now late November and with the wonderful help of Mr Tom Casey ( www.trufflepig.net ) I have a redesigned and fully functional website. Contained within are a wide selection of some of my images.
Bishop Street Within
I have had an interest in photography since I was about 12 years old. I began with a Zenit E with a Zeiss lens and it produced beautiful images. When I was about 18 I bought a Canon AE-1 and thought I was David Bailey! Time moved on and responsibilities changed so the camera and photography became a means of recording family life. It wasn’t until my early 50’s that I took it up as a hobby again. I’ve never written a blog before. To this point I don’t even post that much to social media. In fact when Elon Musk took over Twitter I deleted my account! However I would like to document where I have gone and where I am going on my creative journey.
This photograph was taken in my hometown of Derry inside the city walls. The walls were completed in 1619.
