Lough Swilly at Fr Hegarty’s Rock

Buncrana is an attractive small town on the Inishowen peninsula. It is on the shores of beautiful Lough Swilly and part of the Wild Atlantic Way. Inishowen is a fantastic area for Landscape photography.

The Buncrana Camera Club has been on the go since 2010. It meets on Tuesday evenings throughout the year. There are monthly competitions and once a year an inter club event is held with Pilot’s Row, Omagh and Strabane Camera Clubs.

It is this competitive element that helped bring my photography back to life. In addition there are occasionally guest speakers to help provide inspiration. One speaker who really sparked my interest was Tony Moore.
